Precarious Situations...

I’ve recently have begun to find myself in precarious situations I never thought I would be in! As previously mentioned... we are about to be homeless in 1 week! While we do have a possibility for a home the likelihood of it closing before we have to be out of our current house is very unlikely at this point. So we are homeless...

Therefore, I find myself (and my boys) moving back home with my parents! I never would have imagined I would be moving back in! We’ve owned two houses and both have successful careers- what in the world are we doing moving back in!

Now to the next issue at hand, I guess in the previous paragraph I should have said that I “had” a successful career. Because in the middle of May I will be leaving the architectural firm to become a stay at home mom! Oh, I’m so excited and feel so blessed to be able to do so. I have full intentions of returning to work in a few years but for now we feel like my attention & efforts are needed at home! I hold no judgment on whether people choose to be a stay at home mom or a working mom. Both can be beneficial to a family and not everyone has the option to pick. However, we feel like this is what God is calling us to do in this season of life- and I feel honored to spend my whole day with this little fella....

Oh, and my load will double at the end of October with the blessed addition of this little peanut as well!

That’s right I’m homeless, unemployed, & PREGNANT! And we couldn’t feel more blessed!

Hooray for all of the above -praise the Lord!!! I guess you and I are pretty much close together as far as how far along we are!! Congrats! And now you MUST move out here since you are going to be a stay at home mommy!! Living with the parents will be GREAT and you have a light at the end of your tunnell- with buying a new house SOON :) Good luck!!! God bless!!
