Chaos...

So, you may have noticed but it’s been a while since my last post! I’m so sorry and I hope to do so much better in future! Life has been... well... crazy the last month! Pure Crazy! God has been doing so much and teaching me so much that honestly I’m still trying to process it all!

Some of you may or may not know but we are moving! I’ve never mentioned it on here before because I honestly never thought our house would sell (we were the highest in the neighborhood and we have a closed floor plan -as opposed to the popular open floor plan). But after only 3.5 weeks on the market, with an amazing amount of traffic, we had a great offer on the table! Crazy I know! Who sells their house that quick in this market? Umm... the couple who doesn’t really NEED to sell their house. We had heard of all the wonderful deals out there and just though we might try to take advantage of it! I’ve found myself feeling guilty over the fact that there are so many desperate people trying to sell there house and we really were just seeing what would happen! We were fine with staying or going- we just want to be wherever God wants us.

Ironically, we have no where to go! We need to be out in 3 weeks and the house we are interested in is a great deal on a “short-sale”. What is a “short-sale” you ask? Basically another word for a long drawn out process. A house that isn’t in foreclosure but getting close! There are tons of parties involved and things may or may not work out and it could be some time before we know! However, we are trying to be patient and hoping that our patience pays off by getting us a good deal and a house we will enjoy for years to come! In the meantime it looks like... gulp.... we will be moving in with my parents. I can’t even believe it as I type it! It will be an adjustment for everyone but I’m grateful my parents are willing to put up with us so we can try to take advantage of the market and make wise financial decisions!

In the meantime, Davis is doing great! His vocabulary is expanding everyday and he recently has grown fond of coloring! Daddy is becoming the fun parent and Mommy the not-fun parent (I tell myself that this was bound to happen sooner or later and is normal)! On the funny side of things Davis went and had his hair cut this past week before the arrival of Easter and cried the whole time! He wouldn’t even eat a sucker to calm down. Then as he and Gigi are walking out the door after everything is said and done, he blows the stylist a kiss! Can you believe it? What a stinker!

Ok- well there are some boxes calling my name that need to be packed! I will post more later! I hope you all have a wonderful Easter! I love everything about Easter (except for peeps- yuck)! I’m so thankful that my Redeemer Lives!!!!!
